The Outer Hebrides The Timeless Way describes a 230 mile journey through the islands from the Butt of Lewis in the north to Vatersay in the south using, as far as possible, old tracks and ways. The walk takes you through through this remote and beautiful archipelago. These are islands where the soft green sward of the machair is dotted with wild flowers and the moutains are inspiring mountains.
On the way to Vatersay you will walk through the islands of Lewis, Harris, Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Eriskay and Barra.
